Asian hornet conference – part 2

Alistair Christie – Jersey Govt. Alistair Christie tracking tagged hornets Alistair Christie is an Asian Hornet coordinator from Jersey. He said that the importance of getting the public’s help to identify and report nests is important – especially in the Spring. Destroying the primary nests is probably the best thing that can be done to reduce the population of hornets. (more…)

Asian hornet conference – part 1

Warwick and I attended the first BBKA National Asian Hornet conference on the 8th of February 2020 in Warwickshire. The conference was open to Asian Hornet Action Team (AHAT) leaders/coordinators and was well attended by  beekeepers from all over the country.
