Winter course – A life’s work

A course for members of the public interested in bees and beekeeping. The aim is to raise the awareness of bees and other pollenators in members of the public and to act as the initial, theoretical basis for those who are interested enough to want to become practical beekeepers.

Week 2: A life’s work. start by looking at the basics – honey bees as individuals, the honeybee life cycle (insect life cycle) what they are comprised of, how they develop, the different types of honeybees in a hive/colony
