Winter course – The Community of the Bees

A course for members of the public interested in bees and beekeeping. The aim is to raise the awareness of bees and other pollenators in members of the public and to act as the initial, theoretical basis for those who are interested enough to want to become practical beekeepers.

Week 3: The community of the bees. How the bee colony is more than just a collection of individuals. How it can be viewed as a Super organism.
