We are the Twickenham and Thames Valley Beekeepers’ Association (TTVBKA), a UK charity (charity registration 296439) whose aim is to educate the general public in beekeeping.

The data we collect on our website includes the following. We collect this data directly from our members when the register to gain access to our Members section of our website:
Your full name, telephone and email address
What is this personal data used for
We use this data for the administration of membership access to the Members only section of the TTVBKA website.
Cookies
When you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. When you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. When you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Contact Forms
If you use a contact form on our site then we will collect name, email, telephone number and the text made in the contact form. We retain submissions for two years for customer service purposes. We do not use this information for marketing purposes (unless requested) or pass this information on to any other third party.

Who has access to your data?
Members of the committee of the TTVBKA who are responsible for website administration have access to personal data in order for them to carry out their legitimate tasks for the organisation.
How long we retain your data
For users on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. This is limited to their name, email address and a userid. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
If a member resigns or their membership lapses, we will delete the former member’s website account.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
