Welcome to the Twickenham and Thames Valley Beekeepers’ Association.
The Twickenham and Thames Valley Beekeepers’ Association (TTVBKA) is a UK charity (296439) whose aim is to educate the general public in beekeeping.
Twickenham and Thames Valley Beekeepers’ hold classes for individuals, offer opportunities for school or group visits and welcome the general public to our annual Honey Show and Open Day events. The association is run entirely by volunteers.
This is a short video of who we are and what we do.
TTVBKA honey: Honey produced by the association’s bees is sold only from the Twickenham apiary during our Open Day and Honey Show day. TTVBKA honey cannot be bought from retail outlets. The proceeds are used to help maintain the health and wellbeing of bees. There is a great demand for the association’s honey so arriving early at each of these days is recommended if you want to buy a jar or two.
SWARMS: If you find a swarm or a bees nest or have a bee problem in the local area, please read the advice on the BBKA website and follow the instructions.
